Olivia joined the Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital team at the time of opening, bringing with her a diverse range of experience in veterinary technology and wildlife care. She holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, which included a strong foundation in veterinary nursing.
During her studies, Olivia travelled to South Africa with a team of fellow students to assist veterinarians in wildlife treatment and conservation programs. Following this, she spent several years working with Roper Gulf Regional Council in the Northern Territory, delivering desexing and parasite control programs, along with community education initiatives across remote Aboriginal communities.
Olivia then took on a role at The Ark in Darwin, where she gained valuable experience working with wildlife such as saltwater crocodiles and sea turtles.
At NRWH, Olivia is passionate about expanding her knowledge of native species in the Northern Rivers region and is committed to delivering high-quality care alongside a team of dedicated vets, nurses, and wildlife carers.
