Julie Burton has been an active member of the Northern Rivers community since 1988, working across diverse sectors including community education, higher education, event management, and more recently, as a fundraising manager for a not-for-profit student scholarship fund in Lismore.
For the past 20 years, Julie has lived on a small macadamia farm just outside of Lismore, where she developed a deep appreciation for the wildlife that shares her surroundings. Her experiences on the farm have given her valuable insights into supporting native animals in need of care.
Julie brings her passion for community engagement and fundraising expertise to the Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital, building strong partnerships and securing vital resources to support the hospital’s mission.
