Position Vacant: Associate Wildlife Veterinarian 

The Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital (NRWH) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Wildlife Veterinarian to join our team. Our hospital, opening in spring 2024, will provide best-practice veterinary care for sick, injured, and orphaned Australian native wildlife across the Northern Rivers region. The successful candidate will support the Lead Veterinarian, work with Wildlife Nurses, and collaborate with the General Manager and volunteers. Responsibilities include treating wildlife using advanced diagnostics, participating in research programs, and fostering a professional and collaborative work environment.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Veterinary Science registerable in Australia, at least five years of practical experience, with a minimum of four years working with wildlife. Strong ethics, initiative, and adaptability are essential, along with excellent communication and time management skills. Additional qualifications, such as membership in ANZCVS, a relevant master's degree, or experience in venomous snake handling, are highly regarded.
