The Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital is on the way to opening its doors, and we’re preparing to build a passionate and dedicated team of staff, volunteers, and students.
While we’re not yet operational, we’re excited to connect with individuals who are eager to join us in our mission to protect and rehabilitate native Australian wildlife. Whether you’re an experienced wildlife vet, a veterinary nurse, or looking to gain hands-on experience in the future, there are many ways to get involved.
The Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital (NRWH) is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Wildlife Veterinary Nurse to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Wollongbar, NSW.
This full-time, permanent role involves leading by example in providing gold-standard veterinary care to injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife, supporting hospital operations, and fostering a collaborative and compassionate work environment. You will assist with training staff and volunteers, engaging with stakeholders, and promoting NRWH at events.
As we prepare for our opening, we encourage anyone interested in joining our team to stay connected. The Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital will be a groundbreaking facility dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of Australia’s unique wildlife, and we’re excited to announce job opportunities as they arise.
