November has been another full and, at times, emotional month at the Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital. While admissions remain high, our team continues to meet each day with the same focus, care and compassion for every animal that comes through our doors.

While we’re still busy and very much in the depths of trauma season, the slight slowdown has been a relief for our team and for our local wildlife. It has also given us a chance to reflect on some of the patients we’ve seen this month.

September has been a tough month at the Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital. Trauma season has truly begun, and we’ve seen a surge of patients come through our doors.

One of our recent success stories involves a swamp rat rescued by a local volunteer wildlife carer after being cornered by a cat. That is when our volunteer team members stepped in to help.
